The head of the laboratory is prof. dr. sc. Đuro Barković.
The basic activities of the Laboratory for Measurements and Measurement Technique of the Faculty of Geodesy are related to field and laboratory teaching and the production of graduate, Master’s and doctoral theses in areas including field and laboratory measurements with geodetic instruments and measuring equipment. In addition, the activity of the Lab is also focused on developing of the new methods and devices for testing and calibration of geodetic instruments and measuring equipment. The development and calibration processes are made in accordance with international and national standards for the purpose of the lab’s qualifications for its accreditation from the competent national accreditation body.
